Today's blog is about the Paganelli Family. They were the second family to come in for one of our Scott Ringel Anniversary Remembrance and Giveaways.
Here's their story, as told by Lisa.
"I almost cried when I read your post. I would like to nominate my parents for the giveaway. Christmas Day my dad ended up in the hospital, just a week or so later we learned he had stage 4 inoperable pancreatic cancer, and it is a rare kind, less than 1% of pancreatic cancers are this type. That makes it hard to find treatments and trials and physicians. My parents just celebrated their 41st anniversary. They are the pillar of our family and we are devastated. I would love for them to have a nice picture before my dad starts treatment. Okay, now I am crying! Thank you for considering them for your giveaway, and I’m so sorry about the loss of your husband. Cancer is terrible, and it is so amazing and selfless that you are turning it into something good. Best wishes no matter what."
Here's the adorable wedding photo she sent me:
How adorable is that photo? Of course I had to pick them for a free session. The whole family came in to the studio last March to get the photos done. We had the best time, there was so much laughter! Especially between these two! They may have gotten older but those smiles are still the same.
After the photos were delivered, Lisa told me it had been quite a while since their last session. She gave me permission to share their "most recent" last family photo, which you can see below, along with the photo we took in March 2019. Aren't family photos just the best?? I'm so happy that I could get them some updated photos. I know they will cherish them forever.
