When Jenny and Zach got engaged, I think everyone who knows them let out a collective sigh of happiness. Yes, they are THAT cute together. Not only are they THAT cute, they are also wonderful human beings, both of them choosing careers that impact special needs children. In my book, it doesn't get any better than that.
We'd been trying to fit in an engagement session for a while but life kept getting in the way. So when the snow started to fall on the day of our most recent appointment, I couldn't help but groan a little. But at the same time I was excited because I knew if the roads were clear enough to drive, we'd have an amazing session in the snow. Good news - especially for ME - the roads were clear so we were able to make it happen. All three of us were thrilled with the prospect of a snowy photo session - with me admittedly being the most excited of all!
We chose a location with special meaning to the couple - historic downtown Mount Holly is full of charm and a perfect backdrop for photos. I am always a big fan of historic towns, and Mount Holly is becoming a favorite of mine. We started off in the quaint Mill Race Village area and then headed a few streets over to take advantage of one of the many murals the town has to offer.
After the murals, we found a little more snow. Our intrepid couple engaged in a few more PDA's for my benefit, aren't they so kind?
There was some gazing at the Rancocas Creek - and at each other
And a little bit of silliness on the bridge
And even a few moments on their own porch
And then we ended our session back where we began, at Breaking Grounds Coffee & Cafe. If you haven't been there, you need to! They not only serve fabulous coffee and sandwiches, they also provide an inclusive work environment for special individuals. And yes, Jenny and Zach help out with that too. I told you they were awesome, didn't I?
Congratulations Jenny and Zach! We wish you so much happiness for the future!
