Top 15 of 2015 - Countdown - Day 6

December 26, 2015  •  3 Comments

Less than a week to go and today's favorite is one that pulls my heartstrings a little.  As you all may know, I have a son with some special challenges, and because of that, I kind of love working with kids who (for whatever reason) might not enjoy having their photos taken.  When Gina called me to say she wanted some family photos, she indicated that one of her boys might be a challenge.   I was ready for a tough time - but to my surprise, we had a dream session.  Both boys (and mom and dad) were awesome to work with and we captured some amazing moments.  But I still get a little flutter inside when I think that this family called me because they heard that their photos wouldn't be stressful.  I'm so thankful that I can be there for families that are struggling a little, because I have been there myself.  Every family deserves to have portraits and shouldn't have to be stressed over it.

But enough about me and my feelings.  LOL.  Here's my favorite from that session:

One more favorite from the day.  Love these brothers.

I personally havent been stressed over taking photos with my son. Thankfully he like to takes pictures. I feel that taking "professional photos" can be stressful regardless if a child is special needs or not.

yes I stress about photos all the time since my 14 year old has mild CP plus Aspergers. He can be a challenging subject.
