Top 15 of 2015 - Countdown - Day 12

December 20, 2015  •  2 Comments

Just twelve days left this year and that brings us to this emotional photo, my favorite of the day.  I love shooting weddings more than I ever imagined that I would, and emotional moments like this are the reason why.  As the groom danced with his sister and chatted ... one minute they were laughing and the next minute she was crying ... and the next minute they were laughing again.   And isn't that how it is at weddings?

See, I told you they were laughing a minute later!

And as usual, I have more than one favorite from the day.  I think this was the first wedding where I stood on a chair to take photos - I have since perfected that move and you will usually see me dancing on a chair somewhere while the wedding guests get down.

And one more from the night - we almost didn't get this shot because it was late and the party was pretty much over - but I am so glad we did.   Those shoes!  The cutest couple in the world had the cutest touches on everything - I loved working with them.

So, what do you think of today's picks?  Leave a comment and let me know!  Comments on the blog post enter you to win a free winter mini session!

And now for the contest details!  Enter to win a FREE winter mini session - simply comment on the blog and let me know what you think.  You can enter once a day for each of the 15 days of the countdown.  For additional entries, I will also be posting the link to this blog on my Facebook page - you earn one more entry if you like my page, like the post and comment on the post (you need to do all three to get one entry).  And one more entry if you share the Facebook post with your friends.  So THREE possible entries per day.  I'll be picking a winner on Wednesday, January 6th.

Great wedding shots! When I got married 20 years ago very posed photos were the norm. I love the more creative & casual trend happening now. Maybe a do-over? (Just the pics not the guy or marriage lol)

Beautiful pictures! I love the black ad white, especially the last one with the bride and groom!
